I made copper components from reclaimed copper sheet, that I hand cut and then hammered using various texture hammers. Then I gave them a patina finish using liver of sulphur gel to "antique" the copper. On the green jade earrings and the turquoise magnesite earrings, I also added some gilder's paste to the copper to match the colors in the gemstones. It really enhances the colors in the beads. The other 2 pairs of earrings are made using picasso jasper beads and I really love the look of the textured copper pieces with them. And I personally love the detail that the picasso jasper have, they are natural are in bead!
I would love to hear some feed back on these new designs. If you have any suggestions or have something you would like to see, let me know!
